Matt&#039;s scripts were stuff that people who wanted to run a web site downloaded and ran. You didn&#039;t need to know anything about programming - just how to open a text editor to tweak a couple of variables.

Whereas CPAN is a more a resource for exiting perl developers looking for libraries of perl code.</description>
