I really want to improve my photography so I think I’m going to do something about it. I’ve set my self the challenge of taking a publishable photo a day, so I’m going to publish the attempts right here. I’m reading a couple of photography books at the minute. Including Understanding Exposure and The Moment it Clicks, which are both excellent books, so hopefully I’ll pick up some knowledge.

This weekend I have been mostly taking photos…

I’m an Uncle! My sister-in-law gave birth to a (yet-to-be-named) baby boy today. We went round to visit today and I held him for 2o minutes or so.

Update: He’s called Christian Mark.

Hit Disneyland Resort yesterday. Was an awesome day out. There are actually two parks next to each other and we had access to them both. Didn’t manage to get many photos as I didn’t want to risk my camera!

Running out of time on Internet machine so better go!

It’s nearly time for my Holiday to the States. I’m quite looking forward to it I think. This is a map of where we are going. There will be some serious driving!!!

I’ve just got in from the Barenaked Ladies  gig at the Apollo. It was one of the best gigs I’ve ever been to. They had an excellent support act with a guy called Boothby Graffoe. He played with the BNL and made a very for a very good crowd warmer.

The main act was superb playing an excellent mixture of new and old stuff, with the whole band switching instruments and even doing a boyband style dance at one point. I had an excellent time!
