Well it’s August Bank Holiday weekend, which means as well as being my Wedding Aniversary, it’s time to go away with friends again. We went to stay somewhere near Cheadle in Staffordshire. We visited a monkey sanctuary called Mokey Forest where they have lots of Barbary Macaque’s, so obviously I grabbed some shots.

I’ve decided to put some photography stuff on graemelawton.co.uk, Not really sure where I’m going to go with this yet, but it was a good opportunity to play with flash.

Well I decided in my wisdom to go into Manchester this morning to take some pictures whilst Janet did some work. I got precisely didily squat that I was happy with. Although I did see some Peregrine Falcons, which was nice.

I did take a semi decent picture of Janet when I got home though…

Janet asked me to take some photos for her hotel. The brief was some black and white pictures around Manchester. So here they are.

Some of them aren’t completely terrible.

I went to Southport Airshow with Phil on Saturday.  Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great, but we still enjoyed our selves. Perhaps the most impacting item was the Typhoon (Eurofighter) which was truly astonishing. It can practically turn on the spot, and it is probably one of the noisiest machines I’ve ever heard.

  

I went to Jodrell Bank obervatory today with a couple of my friends. We took some snap shots which are available here.

I took these a while ago, but never got round to do anything with them They are just some shots I took on my lunch.

 

Some might claim that it’s not usual to be taking pictures in the middle of the road, in the middle of the night, but blah! What do they know!
